Why was i circised? benefits/drawbacks?

i am not sure whether or not its a good thing that i am or not. idk if women enjoy better when men aren't but its not like i have a choice now. is there any medical reason why parents decide (if its their decision) to have their child circised. what are benefits/drawbacks of circision?
