98 Ford Contour overdrive light flashing and transmission slipping?

did you try using regular drive? see how it works by using it. what i would do once you got it back home is drop the pan and change the fluid and filter, but don,t flush it or you will have more trouble. i don,t recommend anyone to flush their transmissions. but it,s up to you.
