Are there special musicologist tails?

Back when I was a music major in college (recent graduate), my professor mentioned a special tail his musicologist buddies have on special occasions. The tail is named after a 18th or 19th century composer, yet for the life of me I can't remember which one! Anybody know of special tails named after famous musicians? (not 20th century) And it's not the Mozart tail. :)
