Santa Elena binding spell?

I'm doing this spell from the book " encyclopedia of 5000 spells" it request that i mix certain ingredients as well as Florida water to a bath, then let a candle burn all the way down. I have to do this spell in it's entirety for 7 nights, any advice before i start this spell?
