What happened to the peoples bodies who died in the Chernobyl nuclear accident?

I never really payed much attention when it came to World History in school but I do remember watching a video about a nuclear bomb. It completely wiped out people. Their bodies didn't even turn to dust, just completely evaporated from the heat. Shadows of them were left on the ground. Try looking up History videos on YouTube
