Some 1991 Dodge Spirit questions?

The most common issue is transmission failure, it has the same engine and transmission as a Dodge Caravan. The engines are great and have decent power, will go 300k miles if maintained. The transmissions are super weak and in the Caravan they normally fail under 100k miles but should last longer in the Spirit as long as you don't drive it hard since they are lighter. The best way to prevent problems with the transmission and make the car last longer is maintenance, change the transmission fluid and filter, change the engine oil and filter..the usual.
