My neighbor has an abundance of wild gs. Have any ideas?

My boyfriend got spur of the momment to make his own wine with them. I knew we needed yeast and sugar. From there what do we do? We have no gl jug either, can you use plastic? How long does he have to wait? He has no patience, but I am figuring over 3 weeks. Do we store in cupboard or fridege? Plus if there is any cool dishes that are cheap to make throw them at me. He never does anything spur of the momment so looking forward to the time with him with your ideas. Plus I want to prove to him I know something, LOL!
