I got married to an American man in Dubai and am getting a divorce in Bahrain according to their country law.?

I don't know much about the law, or Islamic law in general, but I do know that Islamic countries favor men in the court. If the child is citizen of Bahrain, you basically have no choice but to sign. However, if you and your child are Japanese (Or another country)citizens, you can probably get protection from the local government (or emby) against him. In fact, the Bahrain emby probably couldn't coerce you into anything within Japan if your child is not a Bahrainian citizen. If you two are Americans however, I couldn't tell you. I don't know what the deal is with marriages overseas.
